Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge, Clinical Commissioning Groups – Phase One:
RE-HOMING PROJECT

The Brief
The relocate staff from Maritime House and Imperial Office Suites to North House, creating 72 new agile working spaces. Key criteria included refresh, re-location and re-use of as much of the existing furniture as possible in the new premises dovetailing seamlessly with new furniture items specified and supplied. With the waste hierarchy to addressed at every stage of the relocation, the requirement was for a zero to landfill project, with any remaining items rehomed in the community rehoming or sent for materials recycling.
JPA Furniture was tasked with project managing the relocation, including space planning and design of the new agile workspaces in Maritime House, identifying which items could be re-used, dismantling and transporting these items to the new location, specifying, delivering and installing the new items, and, rehoming and recycling any unwanted furniture.
